Hey guys, I need your amazing nutritiony fitness advice here. I’m on 1200 calories a day roughly, sometimes up to 1600, and I’m still ALWAYS hungry! I usually work out a lot and I don’t at the minute, just the 30 day shred cos I’m revising constantly. And I’m STARVING!
What does this mean? Should I up my calories? Does it mean my metabolism’s pretty fast (it got used to 2,500-3,000 calories every day at one point haha)? Is it because I work out a bit, or because I’m revising a lot and need brain food? Idk. I know I’m eating the right types of food, lots of protein and fibre to try and keep me full but I’ve yet to find anything that works, snack-wise. Heeeeelp! What should I do? Raise my calories and stall my weight loss, or suck it up?
So yesterday, I didn’t get any exercise cos I revised sooo hard, so thats okay. I also had yummy scrambled egg on oatcakes for lunch, yoghurt and an apple for a mid afternoon snack, and pasta for dinner (mother’s choice). Gaaaah I wish I could get on here more! I can’t wait til my days are filled with tumblin’, running, 30 day shred, treadmill walking, eating amazing healthy food, seeing my friends, watching films, shopping, and working at a clothes shop. For 3 months. It will be heaven!
Drinking buckets of coffee and trying to convince myself to revise?
Had my usual bran flakes mixed with oats ‘n’ more for brekkie, and planning a broccoli and low fat cheese omelette for lunch…mmmm! Eating hasn’t been so great this week and walking has been my only exercise - I’m not gonna be too hard on myself though because passing my exams is far more important. If the rain stays away I might go for a run later. If not, I’ll definitely do some treadmill walking on top of my 30 DS. NEEEED to get back on track with my food and workout diaries, I just haven’t had time. Yeah, I think I’ll do them today.
Anyone else find healthiness a bit of a challenge come exam period? Bloody bring on the 25th of May :D
I hate exams! So much! And I went out to the cinema on Sunday and split half a small popcorn, and went to nandos last night and had a chicken pitta (no side). Quite annoyed at myself, but my weight hasn’t changed which I guess is a huge perk of healthy weight loss, that it stays off better!
I’m kinda rambling I know. I have an exam tomorrow, next week and the week after so I’m pretty stressed and not exercising. I forgot to bring the 30 day shred to uni but I’m gonna do a lot of the moves from it tonight to make me feel better, plus I’ll be walking the 3 miles commute to uni today for some cardio. I cannot wait for uni to be over for the summer so I can fully focus on this!! I WILL BE SMOKINNNN’ and sooo fit. My Race for Life is on the 19th of June and I’m nowhere near fit enough to do it :(
I think I got goosebumps about 1,000 times watching last night's biggest loser!
The makeover transformation moments, the reuniting with families, the opera singing, the car winning, the 3rd wish (trying not to spoil it for those who haven’t seen it yet!). Ugh it was just amazing. I LOVE HANNAH AND OLIVIA SO MUCH!!
Its not that great, tbh, bit jerky and not very stable but hey it’ll do the job! I’ll mostly use it for powerwalking at night though, as I hate hate walking alone outside but love it for fat burning. I over-indulged in indian food a bit tonight so I’m gonna walk for an hour later on! Still way too full though, my stomach isn’t used to that much food haha!
I’m also starting a treadmill mile counter on the sidebar of my blog - keep checking back to see how many I’ve clocked up :)
